Author Guidelines
Each writer must ensure that the manuscript sent is in accordance with the provisions set by the Pedagogik: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran Fakultas Tarbiyah Universitas Muhammadiyah Aceh as follows:
A. General Provisions
- The manuscript is written in Indonesian or English
- The manuscripts must be original and have never been published or are in the process of being submitted to be published in other media and do not contain elements of plagiarism.
- The manuscripts can be in the form of research, case studies, or literature studies with a maximum writing length of 20 pages of A4 paper with 1.5 spacing and typed in Microsoft word size 12 in Times New Roman.
- Authors must register as writers by online registering via the website: http://ejournal.unmuha.ac.id/index.php/pedagogik
- The manuscript will be published in Jurnal Pedagogik: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran Fakultas Tarbiyah Universitas Muhammadiyah Aceh after being reviewed by peer reviewers.
- The manuscripts must be made in accordance with writing guidelines and templates. Writing templates can be downloaded in Journal Templates.
B. Special Provisions
- The text framework includes: Title, Name of Author and Institution, Abstract, Introduction, Research Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions and Suggestions, and References.
- Title. The title must reflect the problem discussed in the writing, be short, and informative, but not exceed 17 words. The title of the manuscript does not contain any unusual abbreviations.
- Name of Author and Institution. The author's name is written without a title or degree. The author's name must also be accompanied by the author's institution, institutional address, and email address.
- Abstract. Abstracts are written in Indonesian and English. Abstracts are made in one paragraph and between 150-250 words consisting of background, objectives, research methods (design, subject / sample, instruments, data analysis), results, conclusions, and keywords (3-5 phrases).
- Introduction. The introduction should contain (briefly and in sequence) the general background and literature review (state of the art) and the main research issues. At the end of the introduction, the purpose / research question and the novelty of the script should be stated.
- Research Methods. The research method describes the type of research, population and sample or research subject, instruments, research implementation procedures, data collection techniques, and data analysis techniques
- Results and Discussion. This section contains the research results and discussion. The results obtained from the research must be supported by adequate data. The research results and findings must be the answers or research hypotheses that have been stated earlier in the introduction. The components that must be presented in the discussion are: How do the results of the research relate to the original question or objective outlined in the introduction (what/how)? Do you provide a scientific interpretation of any results or findings presented (why)? Are your results consistent with the reported data? Or are there any differences?
- Conclusions and Suggestions. Conclusions should answer the research objectives and research findings. Closing remarks do not only contain repetition of results and discussions or abstracts. You must also suggest further research on the basis of the research that has been done.
- Reference. The written references only contain the sources that are referenced or included in the article. Please use Reference Manager Applications such as EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero, and others. Reference sources must provide 70% of the journal articles, proceedings, or research results from the past five years. The reference writing technique uses the APA (American Psychological Association) standard citing system, and the citation system used is the in note model.

The author guarantees that the original article written by the author mentioned, has never been published before, does not contain statements that violate the law, does not violate the rights of others, belongs to copyright which is held exclusively by the author and is free from third party rights or others, and any written licenses requirements which are required to cite from other sources has been obtained by the authors.
2. User Rights
The passion of Pedagogic Journals is to spread published articles to the maximum extent possible by allowing users to copy, distribute, display and do work. Users are also required to provide author and Pedagogic Journal attributes when citing.
3. Author's Rights
The author has the rights: (a) Copyrights and other ownership rights related to articles, such as patents; (b) The right to use the substance of the article in future works, including lectures and books; (c) Right to archive articles yourself; and (d) The right to enter into separate additional contractual arrangements for non-exclusive distribution of the published version of the article (for example: posting it to an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), with recognition of its initial publication in this journal.
4. Common Authorities
If the article is co-authored by another author, the signatory to this form warrants that he has been authorized by all co-authors to sign this agreement on their behalf, and agrees to inform his co-authors of the terms of this agreement.
5. Royalties
This agreement grants rights to authors without royalties or other fees. To the extent legally permitted, the author waives his right to collect royalties related to articles in connection with the use of articles by Pedagogic Journals.
6. Others
Pedagogic Journal will publish articles in the journal if the article editorial process is successfully completed. Pedagogic Journals can confirm articles to the style of punctuation, spelling, capitalization, reference and usage it deems appropriate. The author acknowledges that the article can be published so that it can be accessed by the public and that access will be free for readers
