Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

Each writer must ensure that the manuscript sent is in accordance with the provisions set by the JIPPMA : Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran matematika Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Muhammadiyah Aceh as follows:

A. General Provisions

  1. The manuscript is written in Indonesian or English
  2. The manuscripts must be original and have never been published or are in the process of being submitted to be published in other media and do not contain elements of plagiarism.
  3. The manuscripts can be in the form of research, case studies, or literature studies with a maximum writing length of 20 pages of A4 paper with 1.5 spacing and typed in Microsoft word size 12 in Times New Roman.
  4. Authors must register as writers by online registering via the website: https://ejournal.unmuha.ac.id/index.php/jippma
  5. The manuscript will be published in  JIPPMA : Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran matematika Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Muhammadiyah Aceh after being reviewed by peer reviewers.
  6. The manuscripts must be made in accordance with writing guidelines and templates. Writing templates can be downloaded in Journal Templates.

B. Special Provisions

  1. The text framework includes: Title, Name of Author and Institution, Abstract, Introduction, Research Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions and Suggestions, and References.
  2. Title. The title must reflect the problem discussed in the writing, be short, and informative, but not exceed 17 words. The title of the manuscript does not contain any unusual abbreviations.
  3. Name of Author and Institution. The author's name is written without a title or degree. The author's name must also be accompanied by the author's institution, institutional address, and email address.
  4. Abstract. Abstracts are written in Indonesian and English. Abstracts are made in one paragraph and between 150-250 words consisting of background, objectives, research methods (design, subject / sample, instruments, data analysis), results, conclusions, and keywords (3-5 phrases).
  5. Introduction. The introduction should contain (briefly and in sequence) the general background and literature review (state of the art) and the main research issues. At the end of the introduction, the purpose / research question and the novelty of the script should be stated.
  6. Research Methods. The research method describes the type of research, population and sample or research subject, instruments, research implementation procedures, data collection techniques, and data analysis techniques
  7. Results and Discussion. This section contains the research results and discussion. The results obtained from the research must be supported by adequate data. The research results and findings must be the answers or research hypotheses that have been stated earlier in the introduction. The components that must be presented in the discussion are: How do the results of the research relate to the original question or objective outlined in the introduction (what/how)? Do you provide a scientific interpretation of any results or findings presented (why)? Are your results consistent with the reported data? Or are there any differences?
  8. Conclusions and Suggestions. Conclusions should answer the research objectives and research findings. Closing remarks do not only contain repetition of results and discussions or abstracts. You must also suggest further research on the basis of the research that has been done.
  9. Reference. The written references only contain the sources that are referenced or included in the article. Please use Reference Manager Applications such as EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero, and others. Reference sources must provide 70% of the journal articles, proceedings, or research results from the past five years. The reference writing technique uses the APA (American Psychological Association) standard citing system, and the citation system used is the in note model.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
