IDENTIFICATION OF ORNAMENTAL PLANTS TYPES IN SCHOOLS AND STUDENTS' RESPONSES TOWARDS ORNAMENTAL PLANT MEDIA IN BIOLOGY LEARNING

Abstract


This study aims to determine the types of ornamental plants found in the school environment and to determine students' responses to ornamental plant media in biology learning. This study was carried out in two stages: the first stage identified the types of ornamental plants found in the school yard. The second stage observed students' responses to ornamental plant media in biology learning. This study used a literature study approach based on secondary data from scientific articles, books, and research reports published between 2013 and 2023. The results of this study were found 19 types of ornamental plants found in the school yard and the dominant ornamental plants were Araceae. The results of students' responses to ornamental plant media obtained an average value of 89.3% with a very good category.
